She's this impatient after only 1 month? o.O And it's not unheard of people preferring a douche over the perfect person, either.

Nothing unlogical is acceptable, right? :P

@Imola: Hey, people have hooked up in much less time! While smart and fearless, Isobel is still young and spoiled and was brought up in a sheltered environment so it makes sense for her to be like that.

@JigokuNeko: No complaints about your writing here! :P
Well, ummmmm, yep, hooking up fast is also not unheard of it's just that except some rare cases this seems to have more to do with hormones than connection - to me.
However I don't really have experience in this field thus... everything anyone with experience says about it is treated as expertise. :P

@Imola: Heh, actually this is the central point of the comic: the different types of connections, what ultimately is the "right" choice and how relationships that might seem perfect are not when circumstances change.
Comic aside, real life is too complicated for a handbook. Some people never grow out of the hormonal sleep around stage, some never get into it, some evolve from one into the other, it is always different from person to person. I think the only legit guide is being honest and true to one's self and never letting yourself be coerced by others' opinions. Whether that means having sex with every (consenting) thing that moves, never even bothering with it and everything in between.

@JigokuNeko: One other legit guide to it - in my opinion - is to not hurt others unnecessarily and that means that being honest about it is not only important to one's self but also to those involved.

Yep, you stated the theme early and it's something I find immensely interesting. :)

Oh, and one last legit guide to it! Avoid the approach Fifty shades of Shit and Sparkly Vampires of Sunset have about it!

I'd rather see people get together with the connection the couple have. True love does matter right.
